Your skin isn’t the only thing that can burn this summer


Hi Reader,

Just like your skin needs protection from overexposure, so do you.

There’s the Instagram expectation that summer should look like vacations, BBQs, and perfectly polished toes peeking out from a hammock while you devour a swoony paperback.

But behind the scenes? Many people are quietly feeling stretched thin — so much so that “burnout” is one of the most searched topics on Google this month.

You’re not alone.

Are you:

— Feeling resentful about fun plans because you’re just tired?

Comparing your summer to everyone else’s highlight reels?

Skipping rest because you feel like you “should” be making memories (or progress — more on that below!)?

Snapping at people because you’re stretched too thin?

That’s burnout- the summer edition!

☀️ Really look at what you’ve got ahead this week — and unapologetically say no to at least one thing that feels more like a “should” than a “spark.”

☀️ Start your day with 5–10 minutes of mindfulness. Need guidance? You can still grab last week’s recording here!

☀️ Remind yourself: rest is productive too.

You’re putting yourself out there, showing up, trying to keep the momentum — but maybe the results aren’t coming as fast (or as visible) as you hoped.

⛈️ That can feel like a sudden summer downpour on your carefully planned BBQ.

Here’s your reminder:

✨ The seeds you’re planting now are taking root — even if it feels quiet, with intentional action growth is happening beneath the surface.

✨ Pacing yourself isn’t falling behind — it’s how you protect your energy, creativity, and confidence to keep going.

✨ Pausing to reassess can spark fresh ideas and remind you what actually matters — not just what everyone else (including your inner voice) says you “should” be doing.

This week, give yourself permission to step back from the noise — and spend a little time getting clear on what you want:

🌱 in the short term: what would make this summer feel aligned & worthwhile?

🌱 in the long term: what kind of business (and life) are you actually building toward?

🌱 and… is your mindset one of success — supporting you toward those goals — or one that keeps you second-guessing and stuck?

If you don't know where you want to go- you'll never know when you get there!
